Client with balls
Thursday — January 7th, 2010,
I woke up this morning, and as always I check my mail while still lying in bed. Don’t ask me why, I just find it better to check my mail, than actually having to get out of bed, it’s a way of snoozing. Although I will most likely sleep for another 10-15 minutes after I’ve read the mail. Today however, I did not need any snoozing. As I opened the inbox on my iPhone I saw a name I had no problem remembering, it was the name of an old client of mine, a client I’ve spent time trying to forget about. My head started working.
Winners of the CloudApp Beta invites
Friday — October 16th, 2009,
The CloudApp ‘contest’ is over and I received so many great suggestions and tips giving me some great inspiration when planning my freelance tour. Anyway, I’ve quite randomly picked out the winners, and the lucky ones are:
- Tom, @pope52
- Eduardo Mota, @eduardomota
- Jake
Congratulations! The winners should have received an email with the invitation, if not - please contact me.
I’d like to thank everyone for submitting comments, and hopefully I’ll be able to give out some more invites to CloudApp, or some other fancy new application sometime soon.
Giving out 3 invites to CloudApp Beta
Wednesday — October 14th, 2009,
I think it’s safe to say that I’m not the only one that has been feeling the hype of CloudApp the last weeks on Twitter. Being friends with one of the designer and developer (Maximilian Schöning) of the CloudApp, I managed to sneak myself in as a beta tester a few weeks ago and so far I’m loving this little thing. I’ve been trying out several different applications that can be considered CloudApp’s competitors, but they’re all full of weaknesses and seem very unfinished. For those of you who don’t know what the CloudApp is, let me explain quickly.
A social media expert
Friday — September 11th, 2009,
A social media expert is a 1 to 114 year old person that uses the internet on a regular basis and there uses sites similar to facebook, twitter, digg, or writes or reads a blog.
A social media expert is not a 57 year old person that has spent the last 25 years of his life at an old private university teaching students how the internet works and the history behind it and then recently took a learning course over the weekend in the basement of the local gym called ‘How Facebook will change your life and reconnect you with your family’.
That same person also took the course ‘Dreamweaver for professionals, learn how to make those tables look right’ and ‘SEO - We’re not sure what the fuck it is, but we can make lots of money off it’.
PS: No harm intented for professors at universities, just an example.
